I promised the recipe of the white chocolate cheesecake I make, so here it is.

That's it, guys. A very simple cheesecake recipe, if a bit time consuming. I've done this twice and gotten good reviews both times, so hopefully it works for all of you, too.

In other words, I need to do my Christmas shopping and finish my damned_santa thing. I leave tomorrow.

Okay, the president seems like a pretty cool guy but he's almost got that cliche 'I am awesome and perfect' thing going on. Not complaining or criticizing, but am kinda amused. It's always nice to see a good family relation going on. Just WTF when has the president and the First Family EVER been so normal? At least, when in *my* lifetime? Dammit, they aren't supposed to be cute! XDDD Seriously, this Oprah special is just . . . funny. And cute. WTH. It's nuts! I do like that he cares. I really like Obama, and I think a lot of the critisisms people have of him are "OMG PEOPLE, HE ISN'T REALLY A SUPER HERO despite what JibJab tells you." It'll get sorted, he hasn't even been in office for a YEAR.

Also, Gold and Blue is all over the Presidential Christmas tree. I'm giggling. The gold looks a little orange in some lights. >3

Also, Oprah's got some really saggy eyes now. =/ Poor woman!

So I went shopping at Walmart last night with my Dad for Christmas stuff. Also got the mouth guard, but . . . it's going into my stocking for Christmas. FFFT. WTF, weirdest Christmas gift ever. Still, I'll mess with that then. We got some stuff, I drooled at things that I SHOULD NOT LOOK AT (hello, free standing mixers with dough hooks), and we went home. I went to bed.

When I got up, my Dad and I went and did other shopping, I got my uncle's present done, and then was saddened when we were at the ABATE office my PSP's batter died. So I got out and walked across the street to the games shop that was FINALLY opened for a change, and bought a new Cheapass game for us to have fun with at Board Games night. 8D Definitely can't wait to restart that when I get back! Hopefully I can find Kill Doctor Lucky, because that game is SO much fun, and I want to play again.

So we moved on, and while Dad was in the Beer store, I went into the grocery and bought dark chocolate cocoa powder and CINNAMON CHIPS YAYAYAYAYAY. So I need to find a recipe to use them with (other than muffins. Muffins are tasty but variety is the spice of life!). After that we headed home and I took care of the CRAZY DOGS, and eventually tried taking a nap, got beaten up by Tucker (bless his furry butt), and eventually made dinner.

Went out shopping with my Aunt to get stuff for me in lieu of my Grandparents. I haven't said anything, but my Grandfather is back in the hospital and I am trying not to worry. Trying not to, but of course, I am worried. I want him to be out in time for Christmas, but I'm not sure. Dammit, my grandparents aren't supposed to be old, you know. D:

Okay so back to the shopping part. That was fun. Ended up ordering the Tale of the Heike from Borders, got that volume of Naruto in English (Because I am a RETARD and I like crying), bought presents for senpai and a co-worker. Then we went to Walmart and I got a video game that I am pretty excited about. Shame I can't play any of these games until I get back to Japan. D< And THEN I have to figure out WHICH TO PLAY FIRST!!! Nooooooooo! XDDD

Mom took the puppy to work today, and so Dad and I are left with the older dogs. Tallie is taking to sleeping, mostly, and Tucker likes to try and help me type. Because apparently NOBODY LOVES HIM. And now I am using him as a place to rest my laptop. Bwahaha.

Okay that did not last long.

I also went to the dentist today, which was a lot less stressful then I expected! Nothing's wrong with my mouth other than I need to, uhh, floss more. ^^;; But that makes me happy to hear. I'm going to go and get myself a mouth guard for sleeping, because I know I clench my teeth in my sleep and grind them, so instead of paying money for them made by the dentist, I'll just buy some from walmart. Problem fixed.

I am about ready to kick a dog in the head. More later!

I am concerned about one teacher trying to be too friendly. But maybe it is normal and I am just a freak who hates being, uh, social. Idk. It does concern me, however. This is Tara. I am at a net cafe in Akihabara (Oh, my weeaboo, it is STRONG. My excuse is I have a card here), about to get a shower.

I just wanted to say that I am headed on a plane to America soon!

And that I still hate the night bus. The guy behind me did NOT like me reclining. Like, at all. To be fair, I did push it back pretty far (mostly because I was like 'wow, the seat goes back farther than I remembered!'), but I moved it up. And then he kept wanting me to move it MORE. Boo.

I also had a dream that I was going to see a Gackt concert with Kate. We were going to get a tour of the arena during his warm up session, and I would have kept on in the dream except my tounge had turned into a pulp and was no more. I made myself wake up to be reassured that I still had a tounge.

SOP NOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT, I am off to get a shower. 8D

Naruto chapter's out! This week's release made me SUPER happy for all of FIVE SECONDS until I realized "Oh, it's a genjutsu." BOOOOOO.

The Kakashi Gaiden DVD comes out in Japan today. If you ordered the special edition, you get a drama CD as well as the DVD. My copy of the special edition is en route to my home in America. I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR ANIMATE TOMORROW, LEST I AM TEMPTED TO BUY THIS WHEN I ALREADY OWN IT AND WILL SEE IT SOON ENOUGH.

I keep talking about the Kakashi Gaiden, and how I think it's awesome. AND I DO. But why, you may ask, do I feel this way?

Read this, and I think you'll get it.

That is what makes me excited about Naruto. A story about one seemingly minor character who has such a huge impact on another character's life. It is a really heartbreaking story.

ETA OF SHITTINESS: WTF, WHY IS THE DRAMA CD NOT ABOUT OBITO????? SCREW YOU, PIERROT. THAT SUCKS A LOT. Why did I even bother to yoyaku THIS MAKES ME CRY. But there are character sketches? Siiigh.


I was going to write about the game (AGAIN), but I am sad. Boo. XDDD

So, I went to the city today to get a second battery for my PSP, so that I might have a long playing time. Because really, all of the transit I will be doing, IT IS A GOOD IDEA. Also managed to pick up Dissidia, so I'll have that for the flight home as well. Yay! :3

On my way home from the city though, I missed my train stop. That's right, I was SO INVOLVED in my game (still playing Narutomate Axel 3), that I totally missed my stop. Which is okay because I think the really weird guy sitting next to me on the train got off at my stop. The next train home was about twenty minutes later, so I just . . . kept playing. YEAH. It is an addiction.

So on my way home from the station, I met an old student! One of the kids from F gumi, F-kun. It was so nice to see him!! I really do miss his class, he and the two girls were SUPER sweet kids. And fellow anime geeks, so we had fun together. I gave him cookies, and he entered my humble abode. YAY CLEANING WAS A GOOD IDEA except lol my kitchen is a mess, orz. But I gave him cookies. He's a SWEET, sweet boy. And he looks really nce in his uniform.

今日は、四人の生徒は岡山のイベントを教えた。「危ない！！」と思った！セレちゃんと私のサクルは秘密だらか。岡山のイベント行きたいけど、生徒に行っても無理だ。

My Japanese is awful, but the point is there. WRITTEN IN SECRECY FOR A REASON. (Because I either like messing with you, or it is a delicate subject).

I think that's about it. More students are out sick with the flu, and I am tired. I am eating like CRAP recently.

WEEKEND BREAKDOWN:
1) Friday - cookies, cookies, cookies. And then a work party - had bingo and lulz, I won something. A HUGE calculator and a toothbrush. XD They had joke prizes. The person next to me won a big screaming rubber chicken. I WANT IT. ;A;
一日ずっとクッキーを作ってて結構疲れたけど、生徒のためだからまぁいいっか。夜は学校の忘年会だった。スクールカウンセラーで勤めていらっしゃっている先生とやっとお会いできて、いろいろお話してとても楽しかった。で、ビンゴもして当たったけど、デカイ電卓と歯ブラシを貰った（笑）やっぱS高校はおもろいなぁ～

2) Saturday was Kung Fu and cake/lunch with Amelia and sankakukoen. I started on the wing chun dummy and learned the seven defensive and offensive hand drills. My aaaarms hurt from the dummy, but that's mostly my fault. I screwed up once and punched it too hard and my knuckle swelled. LOLOLOLOL.

3)Sunday was the Christmas Operetta I promised to go to - didn't really know what it was, but I went. Ended up being a Christmas pageant which was pretty cool( and the rest of it was...interesting. Don't read if you're easily offended by religion. :c I'm sorry, this is certain to offend someone, but I've been bothered by this all night. )

Next weekend is my semi-birthday thing? Idk. We're going to go see UP in theatres~ I was thinking about going to a cake buffet, but that and the movie was too expensive and I honestly want to see this movie more than anything else. Most people have already seen it, I know, but if I don't go with someone, I honestly won't go to see it and I want to see this movie dammit. 8( Although I feel kinda bad about choosing this now, since...people don't seem very enthused since, yeah, they've already seen it. orz

Sunday is my last kung fu practice and making cheesecake if I can. Next week I leave for America. I wish I was going back to California, but no. I get to be on an airplane for 14 hours, then drive for 2 hours, see family for 4 hours, get on another plane for 2 hours, have a layover in LA for 2 hours, get on another plane for 2 or 4 hours, then go to my brother's house in Arizona. I arrive back in California on the 3rd of January at 9pm, then fly out at 1130AM on the 4th, so I'm basically not at home. At all. I really wanted to go home. I'll be seeing my family which is awesome, but one of these days I'd like to be able to meet my friends or something, too. It'd be nice to meet people from Damned who I know are in the area, see my friends from college who live in the SF area, things like that. Maybe next time I go back to America, I'll tell them that.

Got everything packed. I have two boxes of books and dvd cases to send home, and will either do that later this week or when I get back.

Made a bag full of stuff to scrap book. One is going to be pictures and ticket stubs from the stuff I've done here in Japan, and another is going to be for the circle Celeste and I started. That one will be so ridiculous that I will never be able to show it to anyone, but it will fill me with warmth and happiness. I look forward to the Japan one even more though, because I will fill it with print club and our evolution from girls in jeans to frilly princesses. It'll be so lovely to see!

I am pretty excited to be heading home. I really love my parents, and I miss them a lot. I feel kind of weird saying that, but sometimes I really do wish home was a little bit closer.

Also, I reread the Gaiden today. WTF I WAS CLEANING WHY DID THAT HAPPEN. I only skimmed through the emo parts and I cried. I mean, I read it too but ugh, tears. Obito, why??????

NOW THAT I AM DONE I CAN PLAY VIDEO GAMES AGAIN!!!!

Do we really need a recipe for tempura sauce? My directions, for those in Japan:

1) Go to the store.
2) Panic that you can't find what you are looking for.
3) Find what you want for 800 yen.
4) Look again, and see the VERY CLEARLY MARKED bottle that says "tentsuyu 天汁", and berate yourself for panic.

My directions for those NOT in Japan.

1) Locate the nearest Asian food store.
2) Drive/hitch hike/walk to it.
3) Panic that you can't read the Black Tongue of Mordor.
4) Ask someone for "tentsuyu 天汁".
5) Be victorious.

I am hoping that my tempura turns out tasty, I'm putting some beer into the batter because it gives a nice color, and is supposed to be really tasty.

CONSIDERING I HAVE GUESTS COMING IN TWO HOURS, I really should, I dunno. FINISH CLEANING.

My Grandfather is okay. Unfortunatly there is a bunch of stuff that they want to do yet, so my anxiousness is only temporarily relieved for the moment. BUT! He is okay right now, and that matters the most. He also sounds pretty good, so I am hopeful.

I am leaving to go home in LESS THAN A WEEK NOW AAAAHHHH PANIC PANIC PANIC.

Need to clean. SO.
